Our unofficial motto here is “We try a lot of bad wine so you won’t have to”. Yet during the course of that exercise, we stumble upon some true diamonds in the rough. Join host Daniel Guajardo at this showcase of some of our staff’s current favorites and learn how you too can drink like a Wine House Pro!

What You Absolutely Need to Know About Wine, Tuesday, May 28 $52.

This class was previously named Absolute Beginning Wine Appreciation, but that title limited the participants to people who knew that didn’t know the basics of wine. Truth be told, there is a lot of fundamental information about wine that most people have just skipped over in order to get to the drinking part! So whether a beginner or hardened vet, this class will teach you something you didn’t know or at least were not sure of in the complex, wonderful world of wine. While based on the information offered in Absolute Beginners, this is a newly structured Power Point type of class presented along with nine great wines to illustrate the information. The most heard comments after this class are usually along the lines of “I’ve been drinking wine for 15 years, going tasting in Santa Barbara and Napa, etc, and I learned more about wine in the first 20 minutes of this class than I did in all that time!” Join Tasting & Seminars Director JB Severin for an entertaining revelation.
